Comic-Con 2019 TV Schedule: When Are Your Favorite Shows Taking Over San Diego?

This year’s San Diego Comic-Con has a feast of TV show panels and special screenings for fans. To keep you updated on the happenings this year, Variety is compiling a master list of the experiences for the July 17 to July 21 pop culture convention.

Warner Bros. Television Studios was the first to announce its schedule, followed by FX, but check back here for more updates as they become available.

THURSDAY, JULY 18

Van Helsing (11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Indigo Ballroom) A panel featuring the supernatural show’s stars, showrunner and executive producers will discuss the upcoming fourth season with a Q&A.

The Order (12:30-1:30 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) The cast, showrunner, writer and executive producers will host a panel and Q & A for the second season of Netflix’s supernatural show “The Order.”

Evil (12:45 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Ballroom 20) The new CBS series, premiering this fall, follows a skeptic female psychologist who forms unlikely friendships with a priest-in-training and a carpenter who work together to unravel the church’s miraculous mysteries. Series stars Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi and Michael Emerson along with co-creators and executive producers Robert King and Michelle King will present an exclusive sneak peek of the first episode followed by a panel discussion.

SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout! (1:45-2:45 p.m., Room 6A) The executive producers and voice actors of “Spongebob” will discuss the live action-animation hybrid special about the porous sea creature’s birthday celebration.

Undone (1:45 p.m.-2:45 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Kate Purdy, the creators of “BoJack Horseman,” will sit on a panel for their new show “Undone,” about a young woman’s journey to solve the mystery of her father’s death.

Nancy Drew (2-3:15 p.m., Ballroom 20) The cast and producers of the newest Nancy Drew iteration will present an exclusive sneak peek of the first episode, airing on CW in the fall. Panelists include actors Kennedy McMann, Leah Lewis, Maddison Jaizani, Alex Saxon and Tunji Kasim, and with executive producers Noga Landau, Melinda Hsu-Taylor and Stephanie Savage.

Teen Titans GO! (3:15–4:15 p.m., Room 6DE) A panel still to be announced will present a brand-new episode screening and live Q&A.

Marvel‘s Agents of SHIELD (3:30-4:30 p.m., Hall H) Cast members including Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, alongside executive producers Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, Jeff Bell, and Jeph Loeb, will discuss the climactic Season 6 finale and what Season 7 has in store for the Marvel Universe.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (4-5 p.m., Neil Morgan Auditorium) Three generations of the classic kids’ show creators will participate in a panel, answer fan questions and unveil never-before-seen TMNT art.

His Dark Materials (4:45 p.m., Hall H) James McAvoy, Dafne Keen, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jane Tranter and Ruth Wilson will be on a panel for the upcoming HBO show.

Superstore (5:30-6:30 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) The show’s cast and producers will have a Q & A session. America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Mark McKinney, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Bloom, Kaliko Kauahi, and executive producers Justin Spitzer, Gabe Miller and Jonathan Green will attend the panel, which is moderated by Variety‘s Michael Schneider.

Crank Yankers (6:45 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) Executive producer Jonathan Kimmel, alongside voice talent David Alan Grier, Chelsea Peretti, and Bobby Moynihan and production designer Gary Kordan, will attend the panel to discuss the Comedy Central puppet series.

 

FRIDAY, JULY 19

Bless the Harts (11:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m., Indigo Ballroom) Cast members Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Jillian Bell, Ike Barinholz and producers Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Emily Spivey will join a panel and screening for Fox’s new half hour comedy.

Veronica Mars (11:30 a.m.–12:45 p.m., Ballroom 20‪) Attendees at the convention will be the first to see the premiere episode of the fourth season, coming to Hulu at the end of July. Cast and producers to be announced will also take part in a Q&A.

DuckTales (11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m., Room 6A) The animated revival’s cast members Ben Schwartz, Bobby Moynihan, Kate Micucci and Paget Brewster, along with executive producer Matt Youngberg and co-producer/story editor Francisco Angones will discuss more epic adventures for Season 3 and share new footage from never-before-seen episodes at a panel moderated by Variety‘s Michael Schneider.

Fear the Walking Dead (12-1 p.m., Hall H) Panelists include cast members Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Danay Garcia, Maggie Grace, Jenna Elfman, Alexa Nisenson, Austin Amelio, Rubén Blades and Karen David, along with chief content officer of “The Walking Dead” Universe, Scott M. Gimple, showrunners and executive producers Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, executive producers Robert Kirkman, Dave Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero, and director and co-executive producer, Michael Satrazemis.

DC Super Hero Girls (12:30–1:30 p.m., Room 6DE) A panel still to be announced will present a brand-new episode screening and live Q&A.

The Walking Dead (1-2 p.m., Hall H) Cast members Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira, Ryan Hurst, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Avi Nash, Nadia Hilker, Eleanor Matsuura andCailey Fleming, along with chief content officer of “The Walking Dead” Universe, Scott M. Gimple, showrunner and executive producer Angela Kang, executive producers Robert Kirkman, Dave Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero will be on the panel.

The Witcher (2:15-3 p.m., Hall H) Netflix’s original series centers around famed monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia. Be introduced to the world of The Continent, where humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive, and where good and evil is not easily identified via a panel that includes cast members Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan alongside, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.

Legacies (3:15-4:15 p.m., Room 6BCF) The cast and producers of the CW’s spinoff of “The Vampire Diaries” returns to San Diego with a special video presentation and Q&A. Specific panelists will be announced at a later date.

The Boys (3:30-4:30 p.m., Ballroom 20) Executive producers Seth Rogen and Eric Kripke, along with series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, and Elisabeth Shue, will sit on a panel. “The Boys” is about a group of celebrity superheros who abuse their powers.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (3:30-5:15 p.m.) Netflix presents an exclusive sneak peek at the highly-anticipated fantasy series based on Jim Henson’s groundbreaking 1982 feature film, “The Dark Crystal.” In this new prequel, three Gelfling discover the horrifying secret behind the Skeksis’ power, and set out on an epic journey to ignite the fires of rebellion and save their world. Realized using classic puppetry with cutting edge visual effects, the cast and creators discuss all of your burning questions about bringing Thra to life. Specific panelists will be announced at a later date.

Bob’s Burgers (4:00 p.m. – 4:50 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) Creator and executive producer Loren Bouchard and executive producer Nora Smith along with the cast, including H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal, Larry Murphy and Megan Mullally, will join a panel discussion and audience Q & A.

Pennyworth (4:30-5:30 p.m., Room 6BCF) The new Epix origin story for Alfred Pennyworth, a former special forces officer who goes to work for the Wayne family will offer a special video presentation and Q&A at the con just ahead of its series premiere.

The Terror: Infamy (4:45-5:35 p.m., Room 6A) Cast members Derek Mio, George Takei, Kiki Sukezane and Cristina Rodlo, along with co-creators and executive producers Alexander Woo and Max Borenstein will be on the panel.

Carnival Row (4:45-5:45 p.m., Ballroom 20) Star Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, David Gyasi, Tamzin Merchant and executive producers Travis Beacham and Marc Guggenheim will be the panelists for the Victorian era fantasy show “Carnival Row.”

Archer (5 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) In celebration of its 10th season, the FXX comedy returns to San Diego with a sneak peek of the penultimate episode of the season, followed by a Q&A with the voice cast of H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Jessica Walter, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Amber Nash and Lucky Yates, plus executive producers Matt Thompson and Casey Willis.

Game of Thrones (5:30 p.m., Hall H) Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei of Naath), Iain Glen (Ser Jorah Mormont), Conleth Hill (Varys), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) will join the panel. Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss and executive producer Miguel Sapochnik will also be on the panel.

What Just Happened??! With Fred Savage (5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Room 6DE) Shiri Appleby (“Roswell”), Kevin Zegers (“Fear the Walking Dead”), and Tyler Ritter (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”), as well as co-creators Matt Silverstein and Dave Jeser and director Jon Cassar (“24”) will discuss “The Flare.” Fred Savage will moderate a conversation and fan Q&A.

Creepshow (5:45pm-6:45pm, Room 6BCF)  Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural, will share an exclusive sneak peek of “Creepshow,” the upcoming anthology series based on the 1982 film written by Stephen King and directed by George A. Romero. Panelists include Giancarlo Esposito, Tricia Helfer (“Battlestar Galactica”) and Adrienne Barbeau, along with showrunner Greg Nicotero (“The Walking Dead”) and author Joe Hill.

neXt (6:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m., Room 6DE) Panelists will include creator and executive producer Manny Coto (“24”), executive producers and directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (“This Is Us”), Fernanda Andrade, Michael Mosley (“Ozark”), Jason Butler Harner (“Ozark”) and Eve Harlow (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”).

 Preacher (7-8p.m., Hall H) Executive producer Seth Rogen and cast members Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Graham McTavish and Mark Harelik will be a part of the panel for the final season of the AMC drama.

The Boys (7-11:30 p.m., MLK and 1st) Cast and creators will screen an exclusive two episode sneak preview. Afterwards, there will be a party.

Rooster Teeth (8–9 p.m., Room 6DE) The production company presents a special video and Q&A experience with panelists to be announced at a later date.

 

SATURDAY, JULY 20

Batwoman (‪10:30–11:45 a.m., Ballroom 20) The DC on CW’s latest drama centers on Kate Kane (Ruby Rose), who decides to take up the crime-fighting mantel. Attendees will learn exactly how and why she does with a special pilot screening well ahead of the show’s October series premiere. A Q&A featuring cast and producers to be announced is also planned.

Star Trek (11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Hall H) The cast and producers of “Star Trek: Discovery,” including Sonequa Martin-Green and series guest star Tig Notaro, will speak about the booming entertainment franchise. Then, attendees will be the first to hear about the upcoming additions to the Star Trek Universe, “Star Trek: Lower Decks” and “Star Trek: Picard,” where cast members and producers will speak about the forthcoming series.

The Simpsons (12:00 p.m.-12:45 p.m., Ballroom 20) Matt Groening, Al Jean, Mike B Anderson, Stephanie Gillis and Yeardley Smith will discuss the upcoming 31st season on a panel.

The Good Place (12-12:50 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) Stars Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, D’Arcy Carden, Manny Jacinto and executive producers Michael Schur and Drew Goddard join a panel conversation hosted by cast member Marc Evan Jackson.

The Expanse (1-1:50 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) The show’s stars Steven Strait, Wes Chatham, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Frankie Adams, Cas Anvar, Dominique Tipper, and executive producers Naren Shankar and Ty Franck will join the panel and discuss the fourth season of the science fiction show.

Westworld (1:15 p.m., Hall H) Executive producers and directors Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy as well as cast members Ed Harris, Thandie Newton, Aaron Paul, Tessa Thompson, Evan Rachel Wood and Jeffrey Wright will be panelists.

Family Guy (1:40 p.m. – 2:15 p.m., Ballroom 20) Cast members Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Mike Henry and executive producers Rich Appel, Alec Sulkin and Kara Vallow will join a panel after a sneak peek of the upcoming season.

The Orville (2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m., Ballroom 20) Seth MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, Jessica Szohr, J Lee, Mark Jackson and Chad L. Coleman will join a panel. Expect to sneak peeks of the upcoming season.

Snowpiercer (3-3:50 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) Stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Lena Hall, Steven Ogg and executive producer and showrunner Graeme Manson will join the panel for the upcoming TBS show.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Extraordinary Humans Revealed with Bruce Campbell (4-4:50 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) “Evil Dead” star Bruce Campbell will host a panel with some of the extraordinary people featured in “Ripley’s Believe It or Not!” including a man with a skull twice as the thick as the average, an actress with a highly sophisticated prosthetic arm, and a man that doesn’t let his small stature stop him from performing.

Arrow (3:30-4:15 p.m., Ballroom 20) The first DC on CW superhero drama signs off with a final Comic-Con special video presentation and Q&A.

Supergirl (4:15-5:00 p.m., Ballroom 20) Celebrating the upcoming fifth season, the female-led DC on CW drama will present a special video and Q&A panel with cast and crew to be announced at a later date.

The Man in the High Castle (4:15-5:15 p.m., Room 6A) Cast and creators, including Isa Dick Hackett, Daniel Percival, David Scarpa, Rufus Sewell, Joel de la Fuente, Jason O’Mara, Chelah Horsdal and Frances Turner will discuss the fourth and final season of the revisionist history science fiction show.

Black Lightning (5-5:45 p.m., Ballroom 20) The upcoming third season gets a special video presentation and Q&A panel treatment at Comic-Con this year.

The Flash (5:45–6:30 p.m., Ballroom 20) The DC on CW fun rounds out with a special video presentation and Q&A panel featuring the cast and creative team behind “The Flash,” which is heading into its sixth season this fall.

What We Do In The Shadows (6:30 p.m., Room 6BCF) Television’s mockumentary vampire comedy presents a special screening followed by a panel with series stars Matt Berry, Kayvan Novak, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, Mark Proksch and the creative team.

DC Universe Series (7–9 p.m., Indigo Ballroom) DC’s new streaming service will offer sneak previews of upcoming series, as well as a Q&A with select talent from those series.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (7:45-8:45 p.m., Room 6BCF) Stars Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Dirk Blocker, Joel McKinnon Miller and executive producers Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici will sit on a Q&A panel.

 

SUNDAY, JULY 21

Supernatural (10:30–11:30 a.m., Hall H) The longest-running CW drama takes its last Comic-Con victory lap with a special video presentation and panel ahead of the October season premiere of its 15th and final season.

Riverdale (11:45 a.m.–12:45p.m., Hall H) The first in the Archie-verse and only series to represent at this year’s convention, “Riverdale” will return to Comic-Con with a special video presentation and panel featuring cast and creatives, who will be announced at a later date.

Ghost Adventures Live! (1-2 p.m.) Zak Bagans and his paranormal team including Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley will share their most memorable ghost stories during a panel discussion.

Mayans MC (1 p.m., Hall H) The “Sons of Anarchy” follow up is offering an exclusive sneak peek at a scene from the upcoming second season and a panel conversation with co-creator and executive producer Kurt Sutter, co-creator and co-executive producer Elgin James, executive producer Kevin Dowling, and stars JD Pardo, Clayton Cardenas, Edward James Olmos, Sarah Bolger, Michael Irby, Antonio Jaramillo, Raoul Max Trujillo, Richard Cabral, Danny Pino, Emilio Rivera, Frankie Loyal, Joseph Lucero and Vincent Rocco Vargas.

 

ACTIVATIONS:

American Horror Story: 1984-Face the Darkness This activation will be an immersive horror experience through the “American Horror Story” universe. The open time slots are as follows: Thursday, July 17: 12–6 p.m.; Friday, July 18: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, July 19: 10 a.m.-6 p.n.; Sunday, July 20: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine Experience Fans have a chance to put their skills to the test and see if they have what it takes to join the 99th precinct. An immersive experience will throw funny tasks at attendees inside of the precinct. Photo opportunities, exclusive content and giveaways will be available at the activation. The activation will run from Thursday to Sunday at the Gaslamp Square.

Carpool Karaoke the Mic At “Space J” within the Interactive Zone at Petco Park, fans will be able to recreate James Corden’s viral “Carpool Karaoke” segments by hopping inside a Range Rover to sing along to their favorite songs.

The Dark Knight DC will be celebrating 80 years of Batman by bringing real-life costumes, props and memorabilia from “The Dark Knight” trilogy to the DC WB booth on the convention floor. Photo ops will be available with the items all weekend.

FOX Animation Domination Fan Fair The fair comes complete with a 70 foot tall Ferris wheel overlooking San Diego, games, augmented reality experiences and sneak peaks and advanced screenings of FOX shows. The activation will take place at Children’s Museum Park and Children’s Park.

Friends Just ahead of the flagship sitcom’s 25th anniversary, Warner Bros. Television Group is bringing the iconic Central Perk couch to Comic-Con for photo ops.

The Good Place Diner – The Interdimensional Hole of Pancakes The interdimensional pancake diner is coming to Comic-Con and will be serving up themed meals. The diner will run from Thursday to Sunday at Maryjane’s Diner at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Harley Quinn To celebrate DC Universe’s upcoming comedy, the digital net will bring fans into Arkham with an immersive activation.

Jean-Luc Picard: The First Duty Exhibit The special exhibition will showcase original props, costumes, and other artifacts featured in the new CBS series “Star Trek: Picard.” Located at the Michael J Wolf Fine Arts at 363 Fifth Ave., the gallery will be open the Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Comic-Con.

Pennyworth Visitors can enter the Oxford Social Club, transporting back into 1960s London to see the origin of Batman’s butler Alfred Pennyworth. Visitors will then walk through the library, the Raven club and eventually the dungeon. The experience will be open July 18 11 a.m.-5 p.m., July 19 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., July 20 10 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Oxford Social Club at Pendry San Diego.

Riverdale Fans of the Archie Comics series can grab a booth at Pop’s Diner for photo ops and fun. Elements from the CW series set will be reassembled on the convention floor for a closer look at the world of the show.

Star Trek Universe Exclusive Pins A limited number of exclusive “Star Trek” pins will be offered all week to those who visit and complete the “Star Trek” transporter experience on the show floor. Exclusive pins, featuring the debut of characters from “Star Trek: Lower Decks” will also be available at the “Star Trek” booth Saturday and Sunday.  Lastly, at the “Jean-Luc Picard: The First Duty” museum experience at Michael J. Wolf Fine Arts, fans can get exclusive replica pins of the Picard family crest as featured in “Star Trek: Picard.”

Superstore Cloud 9 Pop-Up The pop-up will feature the Cloud 9 Department Store with exclusive content, a custom photo opportunity and a “customer service” desk that will host exclusive NBC giveaways. The pop-up will run from Thursday to Sunday inside the Hard Rock Hotel main lobby.

Team Coco House (July 18 – July 20, 401 G Street) Conan O’Brien’s daily pop-up comedy club will return to SDCC for a third time this year, featuring a lineup of comics including Rory Scovel, Aparna Nancherla, Ron Funches, Olan Rogers, Moses Storm, O’Brien himself, and many more. The Twilight Zone Experience The immersive experience will allow fans to enter the “Twilight Zone” universe via sight, sound, and mind. The interactive exhibit, located in the Interactive Zone at Petco Park, will be open from Thursday to Sunday. Free tickets can be reserved at StepIntoTheTwilightZone.com.

Crank Yankers – Yankerville (Booth #3729) The immersive experience will allow fans to interact with a giant wall of fake phones from which they can listen into “crank” calls from the upcoming season.

Comedy Central Mini-Golf (San Diego Wine & Culinary Center) In celebration of the anniversary of “South Park: Bigger Longer Uncut,” the network will unveil a themed 9-hole mini-golf course open to the public the entire weekend.
