Everyone else can take a seat because Courteney Cox just won Halloween. The Friends actress paid tribute to the classic 90s slasher movie Scream and her character Gale Weathers by chopping off her fringe... With blunt scissors and without a mirror, which is basically a horror movie in itself.
While most of Hollywood was showing off their costumes on Instagram, Courteney told fans she was spending Halloween watching her old Scream movies.
"It’s Halloween and I thought I’d get into the spirit of things and watch some of the Scream movies. I chose Scream 3 and I noticed that Gale Weathers has those infamous bangs," she told fans.
"I don’t think anything is that wrong with it. Check it out. I think they’re cool. I say I bring them back," Courteney added before proceeding to dramatically give herself a pixie fringe just like Gale's iconic look.
Again, we should reiterate, she did this without a mirror.
And if that wasn’t enough to make your jaw drop, someone dressed as Ghostface, the famous Scream killer, suddenly jumped out behind her. And right on cue, Court let out a huge scream.
