Why does food that comes in fun shapes always taste so much better than the original? I'm talking Kraft Macaroni and Cheese in shapes, Smiley Fries, and yes, Bag of Bones Cheetos. Luckily for me, and for all of us really, these tasty and spooky treats are rumored to be making a return this Halloween season.

If you haven't had a chance to try this snack yet, they're basically Cheetos puffs that are shaped into various parts of a skeleton like the head, ribcage, hands, and bones. This means that besides being as delicious as a classic Cheeto, you can also build spooky skeletons with your food if you can resist scarfing down the whole bag for a while.

In previous years, it has come in two flavors, Flamin' Hot and White Cheddar, both of which appear to be making a comeback this year.

The news of their return was first floated by Instagrammer LA Snackdown and reposted by Markie Devo. Both posts said that the snacks were due to hit store shelves on October 6 and would be around for a limited time. We reached out to Frito-Lay to confirm their official arrival date nationwide, so fingers (and bones) crossed that they're on their way.

In the meantime, I'll be off trying to spot these out in stores and planning all the different ways that I can incorporate these into my Halloween plans. There's gotta be some kind of craft here, right?
