Even if the weather in certain parts of the country makes it difficult to get into the Halloween spirit -- we're talking to you Los Angeles, with your crazy 90 degree temps in October -- All Hallow's Eve is fast approaching.

So, let's celebrate with 10 spooky streaming series that should make you scream, jump, and cover your eyes. From the old and the new The Twilight Zone to the very frightful and very French Netflix series Marianne, we've got you covered. Read on for more details.

1. The Twilight Zone

Jordan Peele, the brilliant mind behind Get Out, hosts and narrates eerie and modern stories that dabble in science fiction, the occult, and people's hopes and fears for a whole new generation of Twilight Zone fans. Can't get enough creepy tales? Flip on over to Hulu for the original The Twilight Zone anthology series created, hosted, and narrated by Rod Serling.

2. Stranger Things

Even if you've seen all three seasons, it's still fun to track how much Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the gang have matured over the years. And although you might not think it's terribly spooky, Demogorgons are mad scary, yo.

3. Lore

This anthology series brings Aaron Mahnke's Lore podcast to life and uncovers the real-life events that spawned our darkest nightmares. The series comes from an executive producer of The Walking Dead and an executive producer of The X-Files, so they have a little experience.

4. The Haunting of Hill House

Executive producer Mike Flanagan modernizes and reimagines author Shirley Jackson's novel about siblings who grew up in the most famous haunted house in America. The series finds the adult siblings back together after a tragedy, and they must confront the ghosts of their past. Get ready for the jump scares.

5. Creepshow
Where to stream: Shudder
Overseen by The Walking Dead executive producer Greg Nicotero, this scary new anthology series is based on Stephen King and George A. Romero's 1982 classic movie. Twelve vignettes (across six episodes) explore terrors from murder to the supernatural and the unexplainable.

6. Castle Rock
Where to stream: Hulu
Enter the world of Stephen King's wonderfully warped mind for this psychological horror series. Season 1 plays around with the mythology surrounding Shawshank Prison, while Season 2 delves into Misery territory.

7.Marianne
Where to stream: Netflix
Things get super scary when a horror writer is lured back to her hometown in this French import. Once there, she discovers that the evil spirit who plagues her dreams is now walking around and mixing things up in horrific and bloody ways. Naturally.

8. Tell Me a Story

Check out these dark and creepy modern remixes of beloved fairytales, like Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, all courtesy of Kevin Williamson.

9. Light as a Feather

Get ready to feel unnerved when four best friends invite a shy new girl out on Halloween, as the gang quickly regrets its decision when the girl suggests they all play what turns out to be a deadly game of Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board.
